Gluten Free Brown Butter Blondies


Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cups gluten-free 1:1 flour, I like Bob's Red Mill 1:1
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • pinch of salt
  • 6 tablespoons butter, browned and cooled
  • 3/4 cups brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup of chocolate chips, chocolate chunks or candies

YIELD: 12-18 cookies

DIRECTIONS:

Preheat oven to 350F. Line a 9x6 baking pan with parchment paper.

Mix together the gluten free flour, baking powder, and salt together in a small bowl. Set aside.

Add the browned butter and brown sugar to an electric mixing bowl and mix for 3-5 minutes until light and fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mix well.

Stir in the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Gently mix in the chocolate chips. Spreading evenly into the pan.

Bake for 20-25 minutes, until just done. Do not over bake. Cool completely before removing from the pan and cutting into bars. Enjoy!
